Day 1 : Arrive Ho Chi Minh City (D)

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, our representative will meet you at the airport; take you to the pre-tour hotel at Ho Chi Minh city. Ho Chi Minh City is still affectionately called “Saigon”, is the heart and soul of Vietnam. This dynamic city, where much of the city’s life takes place, is a myriad of street markets, shops pavement cafes and vendors. Dinner & overnight at HCM city.

Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh City ~ Cu Chi Tunnels ~ Dinner on Cruise (B/L/D)

This morning, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnel, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Enter into the underground tunnel to witness the many bunkers and learnt how the Vietnamese soldiers used improvised bobby traps to trap and sabotage enemies, which apparently played an important part in the war. Back to Ho Chi Minh city for lunch.  After that visit the Notre Dame Cathedral - built by the French, Saigon Post Office and City Hall and The harrowing War Remnants Museum, which contains countless artifacts, photographs documenting American war crimes, was established in 1975. Planes, tanks, bombs and helicopters used during the war were also on display. Next, visit a Lacquer ware factory and Saigon’s most sought after Ben Thanh Market.  This evening, enjoy a serenading dinner cruise with live entertainment while cruising along the Saigon River. Overnight at HCM city.

Day 3 : My Tho ~ Mekong Delta ~ Cho Lon ~ Chinatown (B/L/D)

This morning, a two-hour drive from Saigon to My Tho (Mekong Delta), situated in Tien Giang River. The Mekong’s Vietnamese name is called “Cuu Long” means Nine Dragons for the nine months that terminates the flow of this great river, as the sea absorb it. The richness and vastness of this land has made this region one of Vietnam’s highest producer of rice crops, vegetables and fruits. The trip will start by taking small boats and cruising on the river to visit Fishing Market then go through small canals to local village where you have a chance on horse-drawn carriage to bonsai, orchard gardens and enjoy the typical tastes of many kind of tropical fruits and continue to see the procedures in making famous coconut candy of the local people as their home industry. An adventurous sampan ride in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region. Lunch to be served with a Mekong Delta’s specialty – deep-fried “elephant ear” fish. Return to HCM city in the late afternoon with a visit to 19^th century Vinh Trang Pagoda and Cholon (Chinatown). Dinner & over night at HCM city.

Day 4 : Ho Chi Minh ~ Departure (B)

Today, free at leisure until we bid farewell to Saigon, transfer to Tan son Nhat airport for your flight home, bring along your sweet memories with us.

Hotel use: Hoang Phu Gia hotel at Ho Chi Minh City.
